Making Branding About More Than Your Logo with Katie Saunders

You know how important it is that the images in your business look branded. Same colors on graphics, same color scheme and feel in your photos, same fonts. But branding goes well beyond colors and fonts and logos.

Your branding is also about the feel of your business. The way your messaging and the way you work with your clients make them feel. It’s about your mission and values, and how you present yourself online and offline.

I love how deep into all of this my conversation with Katie Saunders of Pop & Grey gets into this. Because it’s so true. You can have the most consistent visual brand ever but it doesn’t make a difference at all if your messaging and systems are totally off.

Listen in to this week’s episode and then get your own brand on-point!

About Katie Saunders

Katie Saunders is a brand designer and strategist who combines her artistic talent with a deep knowledge of marketing strategy to create beautiful, effective brands and websites for interior designers and other style-savvy creative businesses. Katie launched Pop & Grey in 2012 after a decade-long career as an art director for ad agencies, publishing houses, and even an architectural firm.

Now, using a collaborative, one-on-one approach, Katie provides her clients with both strategy and implementation, creating custom branding that’s authentic to their style and story and that speaks to their ideal clients. Katie lives, works, cooks, and plays a mean game of backyard basketball in a not-so-quiet household she shares with her husband and two lively daughters in a very quiet North Carolina town.
