The following is a guest post by Eveline Traxler. Thanks, Eveline!
Let’s talk some real talk for a minute.
How many times have you asked yourself, “What in the HELL am I doing? Am I even doing this right? Who is actually going to pay me to do this… and why should they anyway?!”
If I had to guess, I’d say it’s gone through your mind more than once.
But here’s the thing.
EVERYONE feels this way at some point in their business.
Legit. Everyone.
But what you have to realize is this: what is going to MAKE you successful IS trusting yourself and having confidence in whatever you’re doing (professionally or personally).
Take me for example.
I started this journey as an entrepreneur just two years ago. My life was filled with anxiety, panic attacks, uncertainties, doubts—and it took some SERIOUS soul searching to even get to the point of starting my business.
Even once I did, it took me a LONG TIME to actually come to terms with the fact that I had invaluable knowledge and skills to offer the world.
THEN, once I knew that I KNEW that I could offer incredible value to business owners—that’s when my entire mindset shifted. I was ready to take control of my life and do something I loved. I was ready to create the life I always knew I deserved.

Those first steps in the confidence journey…
Stepping away from safe and stable is always scary no matter what facet in your life that involves.
And for me, that first scary step was actually listening to what my intuition had been screaming at me: that I needed to step back from my corporate 9 to 5.
This is a step that most of us struggle with because we’re afraid that if we step out of our stable jobs into entrepreneurship and it doesn’t work like we think it should (or as quickly as we think it should), we might regret our decision (and no one likes to regret anything).
But in actual fact, purpose-driven people are propelled forward by their confidence. They know that they can and will make their businesses work because they truly believe in themselves! This kind of confidence and mindset is not something that someone can give you, teach you, or show you.
It comes from within. And it can only come from you.
I mean, sure. You can observe others who have this mindset. A coach is DEFINITELY helpful, and there’s a ton of courses and books out there that will point you in the right direction. But to truly embrace it and embody that confidence…that’s not something someone can do for you (although that would be much easier, wouldn’t it?).
Okay, but what does it ACTUALLY mean to have confidence?
So, there are lots of different definitions floating out there, and truly—it means different things to different people. To me, it’s about owning what you do, doing it well, and commanding the attention of your audience (especially in terms of entrepreneurship)!
And I know you know exactly those people that I’m talking about—you see them all over the media. They’re out there commanding big things. How? By believing in themselves and what they have to offer.
When you see those people out in the world, rocking their business, creating magic time and time again, you can feel their confidence exuding through their messaging. They don’t even HAVE to come right out and say “Hey! I’m confident in my skills and you should totally buy from me.”
What makes you want to buy from those people that clearly know what they’re doing and show that through their messaging, products, valuable knowledge they provide to their tribe? It’s that secret sauce in business that makes businesses pop. We call it confidence.

And here’s the best part.
Confidence is a learned skill. And it’s all about your mindset.
Having the mindset that what you’re doing is valuable will drive you to be successful because you’ll know, without a shadow of any doubt, that you are worth every single penny someone spends on your services/products.
And once you have that mindset and know you’re worth it, your clients and potential clients will know you’re worth it, and up goes your bottom line.
Okay, so now what?
So having a confident mindset that truly gives you purpose to drive you in your business is really awesome and pivotal to your success as a business owner.
But you can’t depend on just having a confident mindset and telling yourself you’re awesome and worth it every day (you totally are, though, remember that).
You ALSO have to show up. You have to project that confidence to your people. So they can find you, they can see your awesomeness and they can buy from you.
So get out there.
Be that business that pops up on timelines, in groups, in networking communities, and anywhere else you can possibly squeeze into so that people can see how awesome you truly are (and that you know it).
Because confidence + visibility = BOOMING growth
Take that confidence and let it drive you to do great things.
Because you’ve got it; it’s in there. Now let it out.
Go dream big, own your awesome, and achieve that fearless success that’s waiting for you.
